I would like to tell you a true story.
Quite a few years ago I was working at the local high school as a relieving teacher. One day I was taking a year 12 maths class. The class had only just started when one boy who was sitting at the front, out of the blue, asked me:
"Sir, is it true that the most important thing in the world is the happiness of a child?"
Somewhat surprised, I replied "No it isn't, not even close. The most important thing in the world is my happiness. You may disagree with me, but that is your problem not mine. So what I want you all to do is to get your books out and do your work, because that makes me happy."
The boy said nothing, but he looked at me and went like this....
